Exercise Bike for Wifey

This nice pink exercise bike is wifey’s birthday present this year.

I got it from Qoo10 for $139 ($142 after $3 delivery fee for after 7pm on weeknight) after reading many of its reviews and ensuring that it will be worth the price.

It was delivered within a week and the actual thing looks good indeed. Very much like what has been advertised.

I am pleased with this purchase so far.

Wifey loves it and I hope that she will make full use of it to help her keep fit ;o)

How to Train Your Dragons 2

Last Saturday, we brought Gigi to catch a movie “How to Train Your Dragons 2” at Plaza Singapura together with wifey’s colleague Angela.

We do not need to pay for our tickets because it was a wifey’s company’s event.

We reached early to collect our tickets and took a picture together with Hiccup and Toothless.

We then went for breakfast at the food court.
HTTYD2 is a very enjoyable show and It has to be one of the best cartoon I have watched.

Good storyline with beautiful graphics.

After the movie, we went to eat Macdonald’s. Wifey and I both had the world cup special set while we got a fish burger and ice cream for Gi.

We then walked a bit more and took some more pics before heading home

It was fun to bring her out. She is reeeaaally cute.

Fields of Dreams

I have playing evening soccer at Tiong Bahru Park for the past couple of weeks

I like playing there because I find it very challenging to play with those skilful and passionate uncles and youngsters.

Even though the field tends to be congested and not in the best of condition, I am very happy just running about and pitting myself with the rest.

Simply stepping onto the green grass gives me a sense of immense freedom, and I realised that I am most confident about myself when I am on the pitch, I can express myself easily with my feet.

Being up against stronger and bigger sized players trains me to be more courageous.

Getting toe to toe and speeding alongside youngsters reminds me again not to give up easily.

Being shouted at for losing the ball carelessly makes me humble and learn to be alert to my surroundings and

Being Outwitted by the opponents with a slick movement or pass makes motivates me to always think steps ahead.

I thank God for this opportunity to play competitively during some weekends where I can keep myself physically fit.

I always ended the game unable to see the ball anymore at 730pm, quite tired but very satisfied.
