A Morning @ Central Fire Station and A Nite Out @ MBS

Last Saturday, I brought Mick out for an excursion to the Central Fire Station at Hill Street. It was an event organised by SGS in conjunction with Safe September.

We reached there at about 845am and the drizzle does little to dampen the excitement of the attendees especially the kids. An officer guided us throughout the 1 hour tour of the station and Mick gets to experience spraying water from the Red Rhino, sitting inside the fire engines and ambulance, trying out the water hose and learning more about fire safety .

He looks like he quite enjoyed the excursion and I am glad I managed to spend some quality time with him on a nice morning.

We had McDonalds breakfast before heading home ( they were not serving lunch menu yet at 11am) . Bought a fillet meal for little Mick while I had the big breakfast set. He also got a free hot wheels vehicle despite not getting the happy meal set ( thanks to the Mac Auntie). Bought a Big Breakfast back for wifey too ;o)
Afternoon was spent vacuuming/moping the floor after a short nap and at night, decided to visit Marina Bay Sands Shoppes. Took a bus to Raffles Place before taking an MRT to Marina South and then changing to bayfront (rather troublesome) before we can reach the place.

my  lovely wifey ;o)

MBS is a very nice place I feel. Classy, romantic and plenty of space to walk and admire the night view of the Singapore skyline. Pity the lack of breeze on that night but I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed being there with darling.

I hope to try some of the restaurants there next time we visit as we only ate at the food court on Saturday ( we shared a bowl of spicy la-mian and a plate of chilli oil wanton and a prawn paste chicken.) Chendol was very weak though...

We ended the night taking some pictures at the machine and it turned out pretty good. Nice souvenir to cap a fantastic night out with darling.
